Are Poker boot camps the future?

It seems that each and ever day we are seeing news of or hearing rumours of new and exciting online poker boot camps. We are literally talking million dollar coaches offering all kinds of advice about what to do, when to do it and how to create your very own style of play that nobody else can read. But will poker boot camps really hit the spot? Are the really the way forward?

When you hear names such as Daniel Negreanu, Scotty Nguyen, David Williams, Hoyt Corbin and Chip Jett joining the trend it really is time to take a closer look. These are players that have been there, done it, bought the t-shirt and come back for more. These are the guys who can teach you how to play with pressure, how to read your opponents and how to flush out those trying to bluff you.

While you need to have a good grounding in poker before you should even attempt one of these boot camps, they can and have taken many players on to the next level. New players seem to suffer from boredom as games get longer and longer but these guys live off these situations and know how to pull the strings for victory. Even if you only learn a couple of techniques or tricks off them it could make all the difference to your rate of success!
