Alloa man delivers the goods at WSOP Europe

By night he was a pizza delivery man but by day he was brushing up his poker skills on the internet online poker tables. So how did Chris Elliot go from zero to hero in just a few days and did he really expect it? Chris Elliot is from a very working class background in the town of Alloa, central Scotland and his 9th place at the WSOP Europe poker main table brought him a massive cheque for £81,000 which will literally change his life. Elliot, 33, is now planning to go professional and head for the tables of Las Vegas where he is intent on growing his initial stake of £81,000! While Elliot is more than happy with his £81,000 hit he was a little disappointed in the fact that on his final hand he was hit by a sucker punch. As the cards dropped it looked as though he was a dead cert to win the hand with the odds calculated at 85% but it was not to be when lady luck did not look his way. He is now set to mix in circles where millionaires are made overnight and sponsorship deals can literally set players up for life. Chris Elliot deserves all of the luck he gets and will surely get a warm welcome when he returns to Alloa.
