Mansion Staying In Gibraltar

Online casino operator Mansion (Gibraltar) Limited has denied recent reports that it is planning leave the British enclave on the southern tip of the Iberian peninsula for new offices in Singapore or Israel. According to a report in Gibraltar newspaper Panorama, Mansion refuted any rumours that it was to leave ‘The Rock’ but did reveal that it was reducing the number off its IT personnel. However, Mansion stated that it was currently recruiting for sales and marketing positions. 'Mansion is proud to be operating from Gibraltar,' said a spokesperson for the firm behind MansionPoker.com. The rumours surfaced following reports that fellow Gibraltarian online casino operator PartyGaming was looking to make around 100 members of staff redundant without leaving the dependency completely. Mansion, which employs 149 people, was said to be considering Singapore due to its low personal tax rate of eight percent while Israel was contemplated due to its technology infrastructure.
