St Minver Signs With Citadel

Gibraltar-based online poker provider St Minver Limited has announced that it will now use instant Internet banking services from payment processing firm Citadel Commerce Corporation following a deal signed earlier this week. Citadel is owned by Canada’s ESI Entertainment Systems Incorporated and provides secure payment processing services to international e-commerce industries while St Minver is a subsidiary of America’s GTech Corporation and operates one of Europe’s largest poker networks and the world's biggest bingo arrangement. Citadel announced that its instant Internet banking system is a revolutionary, low-cost payment solution that provides international consumers the capability of instantly and securely paying for purchased items using a online bank account. It stated that the service encompasses a ‘white-label’ payment interface that can be easily and rapidly integrated directly into merchant sites along with a sophisticated fully automated backend that supports and reconciles a large network of international bank accounts while handling foreign currency and supporting international treasury management functions. 'Our diversity of international clients means that we have to provide cutting-edge payment solutions to allow their consumers in many countries to be able to make immediate payments,' said Sean Randall, Operations Director for St Minver. 'Citadel's approach with this unique solution has meant that we can rollout this service quickly and easily for our clients and ultimately assist in improving the player's experience.” Citadel stated that a consumer must download its proprietary Payment Assistant in order to use its instant Internet banking system, which subsequently securely and automatically completes the required data fields to ensure payments are immediately credited. 'We are very pleased to have formed a strategic relationship with St Minver, who have established themselves as the largest operator of European gaming networks', said Michael Meeks, President for Citadel Commerce.
