Poker is all in the body language!

While you obviously need to have a deep understanding of how Poker works, the best hands, the best strategies, and when to take the chances more and more people are paying closer attention to body language at the table. This is the reason why many poker stars are never seen without their glasses and various disguises at the poker table as they find it very useful to hide emotions and uncontrollable twitches visible in certain situations.

If you do not believe the power of body language in poker just check out your opponents the next time you are face to face and you will see that we all, whether we like it or not, have certain characteristics we are unable to control all of the time. Some people deal quicker with good hands, some take their time in order to disguise their cards and others are completely unreadable in some situations.

It is even possible to work out a style strategy of players in online poker with speed of play one of the main elements you need to beware of. Learning how to read players is something that will not happen overnight and will not ultimately ensure that you win the next WSOP, but mixed with a deep understanding of the game and skill, can ultimately increase your prospects.
