October 31, 2008 (London, UK) The last month saw the mighty come, many fall but one of the best rose to the very top. John Juanda is one of the best known pros in the world, and in his exclusive Bluff Europe interview – November issue – he tells us what its like to win one of the most prestigious tournaments in poker. Of course, they say you never remember those who come second, but that won't be the case with the runner up in London, Stanislav Alekhin. It was a golden month for poker in the English capital, with the EPT London and EPT High Rollers event both coming to 'The Vic' in Central London. The Americans struck back in earnest with Michael Martin and Jason Mercier picking up the two titles, while John Juanda almost completed an improbable double by coming second in the High Rollers tournament.
