World Series of Poker main table imminent

We have finally reached the time of the year which only a few months ago seemed light years away, with the start of World Series of Poker 2008 main table. The nine remaining players are fighting for a multi-million pound pot and while Dennis Phillips and Ivan Demidov are 4-1 favourites to land the title there are some very interesting players who may contest that. However one prominent poker expert is suggesting that Kelly Kim will be the first to bite the dust with odds of 6-4 on the shortest stacked player leaving the main table first. For those looking for a particular nationality winner the odds on a US success are 11/10, with a Canadian victory 5/2, Russian 4/1 and finely Danish 11/2. No doubt we will also see a number of other interesting markets materialise over the next few days as the online gambling industry goes into overdrive in more ways than one. So where is your money at the final table? Who do you think will bring home the multimillion dollar prize pot? The forecasts and views are very mixed in the poker industry but there is no doubt that those playing with a short stack are literally on a hiding to nothing.
