World Poker Tour Signs Full Tilt Deal

America’s World Poker Tour (WPT) Enterprises has announced a television sponsorship deal with Alderney-licensed online poker instruction site FullTiltPoker.net Los Angeles-based WPT stated that the deal is based on a unique model for the sports and entertainment television industry and would further boost its growing sponsorship business. Under the agreement, FullTiltPoker.net will receive title sponsorship along with exclusive rights to in-show educational gaming brand integration for the 26 episodes of WPT Season VII scheduled to air on Fox Sports Net in the United States as well as Mexico. “We are delighted to be in partnership with FullTiltPoker.net and bring together two very strong brands with proven global reach and loyal network of poker fans,” said Steve Lipscomb, President and Chief Executive Officer for WPT. “With WPT’s incredible brand value and television distribution through Fox Sports Net coupled with FullTiltPoker.net’s massive online following, this partnership opens more channels to reach new fans and continue feeding the appetite for new poker content.” FullTiltPoker.net features Team Full Tilt, 13 of the world’s most respected professional poker players including Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman and John Juanda. They have collectively won ten WPT titles, 35 World Series of Poker bracelets and more than $80 million in career earnings.
