WSOP set to auction off final main table memorabilia

In a move which has been stimulated by demand from the general public rather than any need or intentions of raising more money, it has been revealed that memorabilia from the final table of WSOP 2008 will be going up for auction on the eBay website. The move is sure to attract much criticism from inside and outside of the industry although there has been significant interest in various elements of memorabilia therefore the company has decided to sell off the majority of equipment which will not be used again. Such items on sale include the (prices are current bids):- WSOP Final table and felt at $25,100 WSOP final table dealer button $152.50 WSOP final table index cards $100 Milwaukee's Best Light WSOP neon sign $305 Smaller Milwaukee's Best Light WSOP neon sign $150 These are just a small selection of the 16 items which will be sold on eBay with bidding scheduled to end on 24 November. Not only will this allow merchandise hunters to bid on their favourite items but it will also allow the WSOP name to receive more significant exposure as well. Many people believe that WSOP 2008 is a turning point for the industry.
