City gents relax in the company of fellow poker players

It has been revealed that a vast number of financial workers in the UK and the US are taking their mind off the disasters encountered at work by joining each other around the poker table. There has been a major increase in the number of visitors to the city centre casinos such as London and New York although the high rollers of yesterday are not necessarily out in as much force.<br /> <br /> Poker has always been an area which has received great interest from those in the financial markets with the excitement, the calculations required to master the odds and the prize money on offer the main attractions for the stockbrokers of today. A growing number of these financial wizards have managed to master many of the elements of poker and there is even a suggestion that some may go on to pound the professional poker track.<br /> <br /> These are the players who were happy to risk tens of thousands of dollars on single hands in the knowledge that their massive bonuses and salaries would easily cover these expensive pastimes of theirs. As well as increases in city visitors to some popular casinos there is also speculation that many have moved online where they can play 24 hours a day seven days a week.
