Online Poker Room Launching European Cup

EverestPoker.com has announced the launch of its third annual Everest Poker European Cup (EPEC), the largest freeroll competition in Europe offering a blend of live qualifiers and online tournaments. Owned and operated by Canada’s Ultra Internet Media, EverestPoker.com stated that over 27 free live events would take place in eleven European nations from now until February. Following these will be qualifiers held at the online poker room from February until April of next year. EverestPoker.com stated that these would all culminate in a three-day live final tournament in a secret location next May with a prize pool in excess of $124,000 up for grabs. “The Everest Poker European Cup has been running for three years and is one of Europe’s most popular promotions for European poker enthusiasts,” read a statement from EverestPoker.com. “Thousands of Europeans have enjoyed EverestPoker.com’s exclusive events, which allow players to try their hand at poker for free and experience the thrill of playing live during the final.”
