Online Casino Offering Tuition

University students in the US and Canada have the chance to win $9,000 to put towards their tuition thanks to virtual casino, sportsbook and poker room LifeOfSports.com and its North America Online College Poker Championship. LifeOfSports.com has partnered with Curacao-licensed CakePoker.com to launch the North America Online College Poker Championship, which is open to any registered university or college student in Canada or the United States. Participants compete online in at least one of 28 weekly Texas Hold’em freeroll tournaments with the top three finishers each week moving on to the final in May. This will see 84 finalists battle it out for $9,000 to put towards their tuition at any post-secondary institution in North America. The winner will also receive a trip for two to Cancun, Mexico, with the whole package worth an estimated $20,000. 'This is the only tournament of its kind in the country,' said Chris Neville, Marketing Director for LifeOfSports.com. 'This is the only free play contest solely for university students and is for North American students only.' The site is also offering students the opportunity to become a university representative for the North America Online College Poker Championship and earn money for every hour they work marketing and promoting the event on campus. Finally, LifeOfSports.com is offering students the chance each month to win an all-inclusive trip to Cancun in order to celebrate Spring Break for simply referring their friends to the tournament. Participants can take part by sending a generated tracking link available on the site to their friends with the top referrer for each month receiving the holiday.
