Online Casino Acquires Player Base

Manchester-based online casino operator Devilfish Gaming has announced the purchase of the player base of Hungarian online poker room ParaminPoker.com. Devilfish revealed that ParaminPoker.com had been operating on Sweden’s Entraction network and was owned by poker portal PokerAkademia.com. However, following the signing of a recent affiliate agreement, all ParaminPoker.com players have now been moved to DevilfishPoker.com. Devilfish stated that Hungary is one of the world’s fastest growing poker markets with numerous Eastern European nations recently reporting a rapid expansion in the popularity of the game. 'This is a terrific step forward for Devilfish Gaming, said Paul Barnes, Chief Executive Officer for Devilfish. “This acquisition adds a significant number of players to DevilfishPoker.com and we have also entered a new affiliate agreement with PokerAkademia.com, which will be mutually beneficial to both companies.'
