TitanPoker Jackpot Hits $125,000

If you're a keen poker player you might want to head to TitanPoker.com after they announced that the progressive jackpot for its Rio Sit ’N’ Go tournament has soared to a record $125,000 due to a recent surge in competition. TitanPoker.com is the largest online poker room on the iPoker Network and stated that the Rio Sit 'N' Go is among its most popular daily sit and go tournaments running around the clock every day. Rio Sit 'N' Go tournaments begin any time the required maximum of six players are seated at a table. In addition to regular tournament winnings, players also stand a chance at taking home the Rio progressive jackpot prize, which begins at $25,000 and increases by $10,000 each week until it is claimed. This week, the total in unclaimed jackpot prize has swollen to $125,000 and players at TitanPoker.com can lay claim by winning six consecutive Rio Sit 'N' Go tournaments within a two-week period. Those who fall short of the six wins do not walk away empty handed as placing either first or second in six consecutive Rio Sit 'N' Go tournaments will walk away with a $300 cash prize. 'As to be expected, the number of Rio Sit 'N' Go tournament participants rises with the jackpot size but the number of tournaments we have run so far this week has already hit record levels,” said Robin Steele, spokesperson for TitanPoker.com. “If the Rio jackpot remains unclaimed, we can expect even more exciting times ahead as tournament numbers soar through the roof.' In addition to Rio Sit 'N' Go, TitanPoker.com offers other progressive jackpot sit and go tournaments including Fort Knox for $50,000 and Maui for $15,000. This week's unclaimed Fort Knox jackpot stands at $90,000 while Maui has just reached $45,000.
