National Lampoon Launches Online Casino

National Lampoon Incorporated has announced its entry into the online casino sector with the launch of NationalLampoonCasino.com in association with Poker Face LLC. The California firm was established in 2002 in order to use the historical recognisability of the National Lampoon brand in comedy and entertainment and stated that the new website would bring together some of the most established names in poker with Internet gaming in one entertainment venue. In addition to offering access to multiple poker engines and tournament formats, NationalLampoonCasino.com will provide players with access to skill games such as trivia challenges and financial market competitions. The West Hollywood-based firm revealed that additional benefits such as access to premium cigars and poker supplies for the home gamer will be added to the site over the coming weeks. “We wanted to create an atmosphere that could stand up to the test of time and quality of the National Lampoon brand and the only way to execute on that plan was to partner with the best in gaming like The World Poker Tour and the National League of Poker as well as our other respected affiliate partners,” said Mark Songer, Chief Executive Officer for Poker Face. “Our plan is to offer our visitors the excitement and feel of Vegas while adding something we all need in this economic time, some fun and games mixed with a splash of humour.” NationalLampoonCasino.com will become an affiliate of the National Lampoon Humor Network, part of the company’s growing online media business. This business currently has two channels in addition to the Humor Network, the Drunk University Network that is targeted at a college audience and The Zaz Network, which is a female-focused network of humour and celebrity websites.
