Monday 15th December 2008 PokerStars Signs Yatinoo Sponsorship Agreement
Isle of Man-based online poker site PokerStars.com has signed a banner sponsorship agreement with tri-lingual search engine Yatinoo.com in exchange for referral fees.
Yatinoo.com provides gambling information in English, French and Arabic and stated that the PokerStars.com banner is expected to appear within ten business days.
'Today's announcement underscores the recognition of Yatinoo.com's innovation as an online content provider,” said Khaled Akid, Chief Executive Officer for Yatinoo.com.
“As part of our 2009 global growth strategy, we have identified key potential acquisition targets and alliances that we expect to position Yatinoo.com to become a leading web portal in key markets around the world. This agreement is just one step we have made in this regard and speaks to the tremendous progress we have made during a very short period of time.'
Yatinoo.com revealed that its traffic had increased by 79.23 percent over the past five months and continues to grow significantly by the day. Launched early last year, the site stated that it expects substantial interest from the United States in the future and has established an office in Boston, Massachusetts, in order to capitalise on any opportunities.
In addition to a search engine, Yatinoo.com features weather and news updates, e-mail, mp3 streaming, e-cards and forums alongside specialised websites focusing on games, sports and personalities for the African, Arabic and Asian markets.
