A profile of Alex Kravchenko

The last few years have seen a major increase in the number of Russian poker players on the worldwide poker circuit and Alex Kravchenko is one of those to hit the headlines of late. Born in April 1971 in the Soviet Union Alex Kravchenko is now a professional poker player although he you only started playing the game in 1997. The 2007 World Series of Poker event saw him cash for the sixth time, one of which was a very impressive fourth place at the main event.<br /> <br /> However, the World Series of poker is not the only success for Alex Kravchenko as he also made the final table in the first-ever World Series of Poker Europe tournament which saw him finish fifth as well as the Moscow Millions where he finished a very impressive third place. There have also been a number of other notable finishes which have increased the Russians live tournament winnings to over $2.6 million. This has earned him a place in the exclusive PokerStars team which includes the best of the best!<br /> <br /> Alex Kravchenko has broken a number of records and ventured into new ground for Russian poker on many occasions. He has a well known poker face which literally gives nothing away which is perhaps one of the reasons why he has been so successful.
