Online Poker Site Launches Forum Challenge Event

Online poker site ReeferPoker.com has announced that it will host one of the largest forum challenge events in recent history later this month in partnership with the Canadian Affiliate Management Company, CanAffco.com.. The Online Forum Challenge’s Really, Really Big $5,000 Freeroll is scheduled to take place on January 10 and is free for all players and forums. Sponsored by US-friendly ReeferPoker.com, competitors will contend for their share of $5,000 in cash and prizes along with bragging rights for their favourite online poker forum in a huge inter-forum challenge tournament. Forums with the best performing players can also win their share of $2,000 in prizes. “Some of the very best online poker players use poker forums to improve their game,” said Jim ‘KrazyKanuck’ from ReeferPoker.com. “I am very excited to play in this tournament and see who the best player from the best forum is.” To be eligible, players must first register at ReeferPoker.com before pre-registering at OnlineForumChallenge.com by three o’clock in the afternoon on January 8. Complete tournament details including prizes and registration can also be found at OnlineForumChallenge.com. “As the premier facilitator of multi-forum events, we are very happy to be working with ReeferPoker.com and CanAffco.com. again,” said Jason ‘Wolf’ Rosenberg, owner of Online Forum Challenge. “We are excited to see which players and forums will win their share of $7,000 in cash and prizes.” In related news, the bad beat jackpot at ReeferPoker.com has now surpassed $896,000 and affiliates for the site are now being given an opportunity to take home their share. If a competitor at ReeferPoker.com is tagged to an affiliate account and wins a portion of the jackpot, then that affiliate will earn a percentage of the bad beat. With the 'loser' set to earn over $300,000, this would see an affiliate take home a $3,000 bonus direct, which does not come out of the player's winnings.
