Thursday 15th January 2009 Additional Prizes Available At Slotland
Leading online slots and video poker site Slotland.com has announced that it will be using a series of random draws to award players with a total of $13,200 in additional free prize money throughout 2009.
The Anjouan-licensed site stated that it had already deposited an extra $500 to $15,000 into the accounts of dozens of its players this month as part of two annual bonus prize programmes.
Slotland.com revealed that it gave away a total of $68,500 in free bonus draw prize money last year and would be dividing up another $55,500 among its top 30 depositors for 2009. The player with the greatest total deposits for the year is set to receive $15,000 while the second and third highest depositors will be awarded $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.
For each deposit a player makes at Slotland.com they receive one chance to win one of 20 special end-of-the-year prizes worth a total of $13,500. The first prize is $5,000 while second will receive $2,000. All of these prizes are over and above Slotland.com’s progressive jackpot, which is hit for six-figures approximately every six weeks and awarded nearly one million dollars in last year.
“Especially with the random draw, the winners are often quite surprised they’ve won a bonus prize,” said Ondrej Tuma from Slotland.com.
“Some of the top depositors anticipate their year-end bonus but most of the random draw winners didn’t even know they were automatically entered when they made a deposit.”
Slotland.com has just posted a list of last year’s winners and stated that many of these are well known to their fellow players and to its own Customer Service staff because they have been playing on the site for years.
