Friday 16th January 2009 Ongame Partners With Betsafe
Ongame Network Limited, a subsidiary of Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG and a leading provider of online poker software, has announced a partnership agreement with Betsafe.
Since its launch in January of 2006, Betsafe has steadily grown into one of the most trusted and appreciated gaming providers on the market with 150,000 customers in over 100 countries.
Bwin stated that Betsafe is considered as the perfect match for its Ongame poker network, which is one of the world’s largest, and that its latest deal is consistent with its strategy of signing up established brands.
“We feel confident that Betsafe is the right partner for us and we are looking forward to a successful and long-lasting partnership,” said Kevin O’Neal, Press Officer for Bwin.
“Betsafe has the knowledge and expertise needed and contributes to the liquidity of an interesting customer segment perfectly suited for Ongame Network.”
Betsafe received The World’s Best Bookmaker award last year from gaming magazine TIPS and has now decided to focus on developing its poker product offering.
”We looked into many options but when the possibility with Ongame Network arose, it was an easy choice,” Henrik Persson, Chief Executive Officer for Betsafe.

Bwin revealed that its Ongame poker network features more than 30 of the eGaming industry’s strongest brands with more than 40,000 players competing concurrently at peak times during the day. The network offers operators and players a wide variety of ring games and tournaments every hour of every day.
