CarbonPoker Bad Beat Hits One Million

Online poker room CarbonPoker.com is only days away from having the largest bad beat jackpot in history after the amount recently broke the seven-figure mark of one million dollars. The site revealed that the opportunity to claim such a large reward, which currently sits at $1,010,111, has seen a marked increase in action both at its card rooms and over the Merge Gaming Network. 'The listed bad beat tables, which range from $.50/$1 to $5/$10 at the high end, are constantly full around the clock,' said Jay Manning, spokesperson for CarbonPoker.com. 'Players have been flocking to play at CarbonPoker.com as we are offering the lowest qualifying hand as well as the largest prize pool at any card room ever, this is an industry first.' CarbonPoker.com introduced its bad beat jackpot last year but it has yet to pay out. It is seeded by 50 cents from every pot on all listed bad beat tables and pays out when a hand of quad sevens or better is busted. Currently, this is the lowest qualifying hand for a bad beat in the online industry. The site also stated that the anticipated 4.5 version of its gaming platform would be released next month featuring an advanced mini-mode and a table customiser. It revealed that this would coincide with the debut of a new VIP programme at CarbonPoker.com that would incorporate a new-look online store. 'It's a very exciting time at CarbonPoker.com,” said Manning. “A lot is happening, the players love it and they are tuning in to what we are doing.”
