Montel Williams set to revolutionise TV poker!

TV giant and poker fan Montel Williams is set to revolutionise poker on TV during 2009 with the launch of his International Team Poker League (ITPL) which is set to catch the eye of players all around the world. The event will start in March with a number of satellite tournaments and build up to the televised segment from November 2009 which will incorporate both game play and reality TV style elements covering the major names in the poker industry and the poker community.<br /> <br /> The format of the show will see literally thousands of poker players fighting it out in both land-based and online poker tournaments with the winners moving to the next round and the potential to become part of the ITPL poker team for 2009/10. It is this poker team segment which will be televised and include a number of in-depth profiles on the winners and team members as they come up against the best in the industry in tournaments around the world.<br /> <br /> This interesting mix of reality TV and poker game play is surely catch the eye of many players around the world and should offer support to the growing number of poker players, both online and off-line. Montel Williams has the poker playing community in his hands!
