Sky poker introduces the Bounty Hunter tournament

Sky poker is now one of the premier poker sites in the UK offering online access as well as via a set-top box. The introduction of the Sky poker Bounty Hunter tournament has caught the attention of many online gamblers as this is something slightly different which offers players a bonus for each and every player that they "take out" while increasing the "head value" of winning players. The game is slightly different in that each player pays the same amount to enter the tournament at which point a percentage of the pot is taken out and split between each player giving them a "head value". As players are taken out of the game the winner of the particular hand will receive the "head count" of the players they have taken out thereby increasing their own "head count" and making them more of a target for those left in the game. The winner of each game will also receive the central pot as usual. This is a very interesting take on traditional poker and Sky will be televising the tournament as well as a large number of satellite games. The mixture of traditional poker play and the "head count" will give players that much more to go for and offer a slightly different angle to more traditional online poker.
