NoPasaran wins $95,648 in FTOPS Event #6

The eleventh run of Full Tilt Poker’s flagship tournament series, FTOPS, promises a total prize pool across all events of $15,000,000. That guarantee looks closer to being smashed than ever when one looks at individual events. The Pot-Limit Omaha 6-max event had a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 but wound up paying out just shy of $450,000 including almost $100,000 to eventual winner NoPasaran. Each player paid $535 to enter, or qualified via smaller buy-in feeder tournaments. Nearly 900 people entered the tournament, but play rolled on until NoPasaran and Ketse were the only two left. In the final hand, NoPasaran flopped the nut flush on a board of 5c-8c-Qc holding Ac-7c-7d-Kh and milked Ketse for three streets of value.
