Lyceum Thanks Everyone For Fire&Ice Success

Events specialist Lyceum Media has thanked the event sponsors and the over 1,500 guests that attended the eighth annual Fire&Ice social gathering held during last month’s International Gaming Expo (IGE) 2009. Fire&Ice is a free event for the iGaming industry organised every year with the most recent edition filling out the stylish Gilgamesh Lounge in London’s Camden Town on the evening of January 28. Lyceum stated that iGaming executives, operators, affiliates and suppliers were welcomed to the event by a massive Fire&Ice icon projected on the iconic Camden Lock Bridge. They then passed Babylonian fire jugglers before receiving a personal welcome from professional belly dancer Solariss and her albino python, Sheba. Jodie Thind and Michael Caselli, Event Producers and Lyceum Media Directors, thanked the event’s sponsors, AsianLogic, CryptoLogic, the Asian Poker Tour, the Cake Poker Network, Boss Media, Bluff Europe and Lyceum Media, for making Fire&Ice 2009 a night to remember. The evening also featured a performance from human beatboxer The PeteBox alongside themed stilt walkers, henna tattoo artists, fire performers and industry search engine guru Bob Rains serving as a guest DJ. “To say that our guests really enjoyed themselves would be an understatement,” said Jeff Mann, Marketing Director for headline sponsor AsianLogic. “Put simply, it was a great party and I am sure the industry will be talking about it for months to come. My only worry now is how the talented team at Lyceum can organise an even better event next year.” 'By far, the best Boss Media VIP party ever from various perspectives including invited VIPs and stakeholders,” said Mery Blomqvist, Head of Marketing and Public Relations for Boss Media, which hosted its own VIP dinner party in the Babylon Lounge. “From a brand-building point of view, the event reflected very well on our company values with regards to excellence in execution.”
