Thursday 12th February 2009 Spanish Seminar Next Month
A special seminar is being held next month for online gambling regulators, advisors and operators interested in entering the Spanish market.
Supported by Spanish law firm Legal Link, Online Gambling In Spain – A Regulatory Update will take place on March 9 at Madrid’s InterContinental Hotel and provide strategic and tactical market insights for local and international operators considering tapping into this lucrative market.
Included in the programme will be an address from Maria Angeles Gonzalez, Technical Secretary General for the Ministry of Interior. He will provide information into how the nation’s regulatory programme is progressing and what the resultant landscape may look like.
In addition, other speakers and panellist scheduled to take part include Artemi Rallo, Director General for the Spanish Data Protection Commission, Eduardo Antoja, President for the Spanish Gaming Association, and Juan Barrachina, Chairman for the Spanish Poker Association.
“With the spectre of regulatory change looming, operators need light shone on the pathways that this regulation may take and how it will potentially affect their operations and strategy,” said Xavier Munoz Bellvehi, Managing Partner for Legal Link.
