Jamie Gold Signs With New Online Poker Room

World-famous poker player, Jamie Gold, who shot to prominence after winning the $12,000,000 first-place prize in the largest ever $10k Main Event field at the 2006 WSOP, has been signed by upstart online poker room Aced.com. Gold, who since his win has made numerous appearances on televised tournaments and cash games including PartyPoker’s The Poker Den and GSN’s High Stakes Poker, apparently turned down a great deal of endorsement offers according to his agent. Sean Fredericks, the WSOP Main Event champion’s agent, said that “we’ve been careful and patient in waiting for the right [endorsement request].” Aced.com also commented on the deal: “We are extremely excited to have Jamie on board, not only because of his obvious value as an ambassador for us within the poker world, but for the unparalleled enthusiasm, insight, and creativity he brings to the ongoing development of our brand,” said Brandon Berndt, Aced.com poker room manager. “He could have chosen so many other sites, but we share his values and vision. He is worth every penny - or billion pennies.”
