AiG 2009 Next Week

The seventh annual Asian iGaming (AiG) Congress and Expo is set to take place next week in Macau with organisers Beacon Events Limited stating that it would be bigger and better than ever. Scheduled to run from Tuesday to Thursday at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, AiG 2009 will occupy more space than last year with a larger exhibition area and more delegates anticipated to attend. “The Asian iGaming industry continues to grow at an exponential rate with more companies setting up operations there,” read a statement from Beacon Events. “This conference is perfectly placed for all parties interested in the region. The conference programme will have something for everyone. Whether you are already established in Asia or view the region as the next opportunity for your company, you will find the event gives you the information you need for your business to succeed.” Some of the best and brightest in the iGaming industry will attend AiG 2009 to gives speeches and share their knowledge. Some of these include Andre Wilsenach, Chief Executive Officer for the Alderney Gambling Commission, Chris Parker, Chief Executive Officer for the Asian Poker Tour, Chi Kan Tang, Global Business Development Director for AsianLogic, Paul Barnes, Chief Executive Officer for Devilfish Gaming, Andrew Beveridge, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for eCOGRA, Leonid Nezgoda, Managing Director of Operations for Entraction and Geoffrey Godbold, Chief Executive Officer for GamCare. AiG 2009 will also feature a large number of networking opportunities including extended lunches, drinks receptions and a closing party. In addition, this year’s event will have two pre-conference strategy days; the first looking at mobile gaming while the second will concentrate on Asian marketing.
