Tuesday 17th March 2009 PAF Launches Madrid Gaming Site
Finnish gambling monopoly Alands Penningautomatforening (PAF) has announced the live launch of Apuestasrojiblancas.com, the official online gaming site for Spanish top-flight soccer club Atletico De Madrid
PAF stated that the site is available in both English and Spanish and offers a complete range of betting and gaming services connected to the Atletico De Madrid brand including sportsbetting, casino, poker, bingo, lottery, slots and skill games.
PAF signed a three-year sponsorship agreement last year with the La Liga team and revealed that part of the profits from the new online venture would be donated to player Maxi Rodriguez’ charity in his home city of Rosario, Argentina.
“We are pleased to announce that Atletico De Madrid’s official gaming site has today gone live,” said Anders Wiklund, Head of Business to Business for PAF.
“It’s a true honour for PAF to launch this service and, together with the club, be able to offer Atletico De Madrid fans a very special and unique online entertainment service.”
Wiklund stated that the Madrid-based team has become one of the first football clubs in the world to have its own online gaming site, tailored specifically for its fans.
“Today, a big step has been taken for us as a club when it comes to developing and meeting the demands and trends on the market,” said Juan Carlos Moya, Commercial General Director for Atletico De Madrid.
“Atletico De Madrid’s official gaming site, combined with the recent release of our club’s new website, shows that we are meeting and communicating with our fans in a modern way with the help of new technology.
“In the roll-out process, PAF has shown that it is truly professional and dedicated to this cooperation not least when it comes to putting the fans in prime position combined with a responsible and social mindset.'
