Monday 11th May 2009 HollywoodPoker.com Granted ‘White-Label’ Status
Online poker provider Vista Global Incorporated has announced that its HollywoodPoker.com site has received a Remote Gambling License from authorities in Gibraltar meaning that it will now be able to advertise the domain in the UK.
HollywoodPoker.com is now a ‘white-label’ partner to the license held by Ongame Network with Vista Global revealing that the domain is now primed to further penetrate new online gambling markets.
Online gambling licenses and ‘white-label’ solutions from European Union nations are difficult to obtain and only 20 operators are currently accredited by Gibraltar. In order to receive authorisation, Vista Global revealed that operators must have a proven track record in gaming and be licensed in a reputable jurisdiction with a solid financial reputation and a realistic business plan.
“The hugely successful and popular site is localised in over eight languages while its popular games and tournaments can be viewed in over a dozen European languages including Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish,” read a statement issued by Vista Global.
“HollywoodPoker.com is powered by the gaming industry’s most popular network, Ongame, to deliver an extensive range of online poker games from international live events to monthly tournaments plus HollywoodPoker.com’s exclusive signature Celebrity Bounty Series where players get to play with Hollywood celebrities.”
Vista Global also operates online casino ClubHollywood.com and stated that this site currently holds a provisional license pending final approval from Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority. Running on software from Playtech, the site is also being localised in multiple tongues to offer casino games including blackjack, roulette and slots alongside a host of progressive jackpots.
