UltimateBet.com Signs Up Cantu

Leading online casino UltimateBet.com has announced that rising poker star Brandon Cantu has signed up to its Team UB as a sponsored player, joining the likes of Phil ‘The Poker Brat’ Helmuth and Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott. The 28-year-old American nicknamed ‘The Bounty Hunter’ first came to the attention of the poker community during the 2006 World Series of Poker after winning a $1,500 no-limit hold'em event. Later that year, the Vancouver, Washington, native took first place in an Ultimate Poker Challenge event and has since amassed 14 top-ten finishes in a number of major online poker tournaments and land-based events including a ninth place finish at the 2009 Five-Star World Poker Classic in April. He also finished in fifth at the 2008 Five Diamond World Poker Classic in December and took home sixth in a 2008 World Poker Tour Championship event.
