BetFred.com has announced the launch of its Poker Summer Tournament Series, which will be throwing in more than $43,000 over the next two months and give players opportunities to win big off buy-ins from as little as one cent.
Qualifying games will take place every day from now until August 30 with up to $1,500 added by BetFred.com per weekly tournament.
The Poker Summer Tournament Series coincides with the launch of the site’s new poker sub-section at BetFred.com/Poker. To take part, players need to compete in a game of poker on the site and amass at least 1,000 points in order to buy-in to the weekly tournaments, which take place every Friday evening from eight o’clock. The weekly competitions will be re-buy tournaments with players starting at 1,500 chips with a minimum blind of ten.
The online casino is also holding freezeout and deep stack tournaments over the next seven weeks with low buy-ins that should make the poker action affordable. In the freezeout tournaments, players will begin with 2,500 chips and have a minimum blind of twelve while the deep stack competitions will see players start at 5,000 chips and a minimum blind of 15.
