Leading online poker site FullTiltPoker.com is celebrating five years in business by offering players more than one million dollars in extra prize money between now and Sunday courtesy of its Five promotion.
From today until five minutes past midnight tomorrow morning, FullTiltPoker.com is offering players the opportunity to earn five times the number of points during any real-money ring, sit-and-go or tournament game.
In addition, until July 19, all of the site’s regularly scheduled Happy Hour periods will award five times the number of Full Tilt points. Players can then use these points to buy-in directly to a $5,000 Every Five Hours tournament, which costs five points, or enter any other points tournaments. Competitors can also redeem their points in the site’s store for items including iPods, plasma televisions, golf clubs or personalized shirts.
As part of its Five promotion, FullTiltPoker.com is also offering players up to $850 for referring five friends to the site. Existing customers will receive over $100 when one of their friends joins the site as a real-money player plus an additional $275 if five of their mates sign up and make a deposit with 60 days. There is no limit to how many times players can receive the multiple refer-a-friend bonus as long as their mates sign up before Sunday at midnight.
The Five promotional period will end on a high on July 19 with Big Money Sunday featuring three tournaments with more than two million dollars guaranteed up for grabs. The first tournament, The Sunday Brawl, will commence at two o’clock in the afternoon New York time featuring $500,000 in guaranteed prize money. At six o’clock, FullTiltPoker.com will host its One Million Dollars Guarantee tournameent featuring $1.5 million in the pot. The festivities will then conclude at five minutes past seven in the afternoon with the site increasing the guaranteed prize pool for its Sunday Mulligan to $250,000.
