Monday 20th July 2009 Casino Affiliates Being Offered Big Money In Budapest
Leading publisher iGaming Business has announced that the next Affiliate Series Of Poker (ASOP) tournament will take place during the Budapest Affiliate Conference (BAC) from September 10 to 13 with prizes reaching as high as $20,000.
The most recent ASOP tournament took place during the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference from April 30 to May 3 at the Amsterdam Rai convention centre and was won by ‘Chipeez’, a member of CasinoAffiliatePrograms.com (CAP).
The lucky player took home $3,000 in cash alongside a winner’s bracelet with a value of approximately $6,000 made by the same company that creates the trophies for the Aussie Millions competition. ’Chipeez’ emerged triumphant from a field of 42 finalists, each of which had qualified alongside hundreds of other through special online tournaments.
”Winning an ASOP tournament is all about the honours and bragging rights,” said ‘Chipeez’.
“I'm really happy to be the first Dutch ASOP winner and the first winner at the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference event. Even though it was an online tournament, there was enough competition to make it a great game. I'll definitely be back to defend the title, online or offline.”
Amsterdam Affiliate Conference was previously known as CAP Euro: Amsterdam until a name change announced in mid-March. CAP, a leading online marketing resource and community website for Internet casino affiliates, founded the event two years ago along with iGaming Business but decided to take a step back in order to focus on developing its own portal, forum and online assets.
iGaming Business also revealed that Ondrej Tuma, Affiliate Manager for online casino Slotland.com, won the affiliate manager portion of the ASOP and took home a similarly grand prize.
The BAC is part of a series of events that began as CAP Euro in January of 2007. The conference has since grown from just 600 attendees to over 1,700 to make it the world’s largest iGaming affiliate event.
