PartyPoker.com introduces pot-limit Omaha games

Leading online poker site PartyPoker.com has recently yielded to demand and announced the addition of $25/$50 pot-limit Omaha to its cash game offerings for the first time. The Gibraltar-licensed site is best known for holding high-stakes limit hold’em contests and has never completely hosted such high stakes no-limit or pot-limit games before now. PartyPoker.com revealed that its decision has proved popular with tables quickly filling up alongside lengthy waiting lists, something that has prompted the site to introduce new tables in order to meet demand. “Demand meant we recently introduced a new $25/$50 pot-limit Omaha table but since then we have had to open up more tables for high stakes action,” read a statement from PartyPoker.com. “We used to have big limit games but this is the biggest game we have had at PartyPoker.com for a long time. The high stakes action has picked up. Come along and take a look.” Non-US players that would like to take a shot at playing pot-limit Omaha at PartyPoker.com can also take advantage of its revamped player statistics service. Part of the site’s recent software upgrade, the new system allows users to specify which game they would like to examine in more detail, including Omaha and stud high-low games. Competitors can break down how often other players may check, bet, raise, call and fold while it also examines at what point in a others fold.
