TitanPoker.com launches Irish Open promotion

Leading online casino TitanPoker.com has launched a series of satellite poker events to determine the players that will participate on its behalf at the Irish Open 2010 tournament in Ireland in April. Winning players at TitanPoker.com's weekly Super Satellite tournaments will be awarded with a $7,200 prize package that includes the $4,996 buy-in for the Dublin competition along with five nights of luxurious accommodation at the Burlington Hotel and $1,142 for flights and spending money. The main event of the Irish Open 2010 begins on the first day of April and online players are being invited to participate in one of TitanPoker.com's qualifier satellite tournaments, which have buy-ins starting from as low as $2.20. In addition, the Antigua-licensed site is holding weekly Super Satellite events every Sunday evening with buy-ins of $268. The Irish Poker Open is the longest running no-limit Texas hold'em poker tournament in Europe and the world’s second oldest after the World Series Of Poker in Las Vegas. TitanPoker.com revealed that it sent a delegation of 32 players from around the world to participate in the recently concluded Irish Winter Festival poker tournament. One of these, Germany’s Igor Kurganov finished in fifth place to win $51,275 while two other TitanPoker.com qualifiers also finished in the money.
