Wednesday 27th January 2010 SportingBet extends GTECH G2 agreements
After over five years of successfully working together, sportsbetting and gaming firm SportingBet has renewed several agreements with GTECH G2 covering key product verticals including poker, casino and games for a further three years.
GTECH G2 is the interactive subsidiary of leading American gaming technology and services firm GTECH Corporation and revealed that SportingBet is also set to licence its new bingo product and join its International Bingo Network.
GTECH G2 combines the software development and customer management expertise of Boss Media, Finsoft, Dynamite Idea and St Minver and stated that SportingBet’s ParadisePoker.com domain will now become a member of its International Bingo Network after being a client of its International Poker Network for several years.
The two are also set to forge a new sportsbetting relationship by utilising GTECH G2’s Margin Maker software while ParadisePoker.com will also integrate the player-centric Gaming Management System, which serves as the back-office for bingo, poker and casino. As a result, GTECH G2 stated that ParadisePoker.com should expect to increase the number of casino side games and flash-based titles it offers over coming months.
“Sportsbetting is, of course, our core business and we’ve partnered with Finsoft and then subsequently GTECH G2 post-sale to provide our sportsbetting systems for years,” said Andrew McIver, Chief Executive Officer for SportingBet.
“This extension of our relationship with GTECH G2 achieves many positives for us including some exciting new operating methodologies around Margin Maker plus a suite of new casino games, renewed vigour around poker and the exciting launch of bingo.”
For its part, SportingBet’s ParadiseCasino.com domain, which already features GTECH G2 releases, is to be upgraded to new casino software launched this week and be among the first to receive its suite of side games.
“When we began to assemble the iGaming software development companies that now form GTECH G2, it was this kind of end-to-end fully managed customer solution that we envisioned,” said Atul Bali, Chief Executive Officer for GTECH G2.
“We’re proud of our partnership with SportingBet and thank it for the confidence it has placed in our sportsbetting, casino, poker and now bingo products.”
