Wednesday 27th January 2010 Virgin Games sign partnership agreement with Playtech for GTS platform
Playtech, (AIM: PTEC) the international designer, developer and licensor of software for the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry, today announces that has signed a partnership agreement with Virgin Games (“Virgin”), a leading UK gaming operator.
Under the agreement, Playtech’s soft gaming solutions developer, Gaming Technology Solutions Limited (GTS), acquired in December 2009, have licensed their software platform EdGE to Virgin and will also deliver a brand new selection of game products, adding further variety to Virgin’s established offering.
The EdGE platform is a cost effective and easily integrated games engine that will allow Virgin to manage and operate their games with ease. Its ICE Back Office (ICE) toolset delivers many functional and performance enhancements to Virgin including support for games marketing campaigns, report customisation, customer support and much more in a user interface that is both practical and easy to use.
