Leading Curacao-licensed online poker room CakerPoker.com is pledging to let its players be themselves by launching a series of no-strings-attached satellite competitions awarding entry into the World Series Of Poker (WSOP).
With the theme of ‘what happens in Vegas - is entirely up to you’, CakePoker.com is holding a series of cash, sit and go and Gold Chip and Gold Card reward qualifiers offering players prize packages to the Las Vegas tournament worth $2,500 and $12,500.
“While many online poker sites require that their WSOP satellite winners wear logo-covered gear, stay at certain hotels and use their winnings for certain events, CakePoker.com's winners have no strings attached to their WSOP prize packages,” read a statement from the Curacao-based site.
“This year, CakePoker.com is offering players the chance to win $2,500 and $12,500 for the WSOP in Las Vegas. While some sites govern exactly how and when players should spend their WSOP prize money, CakePoker.com's WSOP prize packages are flexible. Other sites have a laundry list of terms, conditions, rules, regulations and decrees about how satellite winners should get to Vegas. Where they should stay, which tables they should play and even what they should wear. CakePoker.com’s WSOP prize packages come with no strings attached whatsoever.”
CakePoker.com is offering entry into one of its satellites to win a $2,500 prize package through five-step sit and go series with the initial level costing only one dollar. The finals for one of its $12,500 prize packages play out on Sundays from four o’clock in the afternoon New York time with a buy-in of $374 although there are satellites starting from three dollars.
“We are excited about this year's WSOP and are delighted to offer satellites to our players,” said Lee Jones, Cardroom Manager for CakePoker.com.
“Our players get to concentrate and focus on their game instead of worrying about wearing the proper shirt to keep their free hotel room. We will show our appreciation and reward players who choose to wear our gear but we're certainly not going to police it.
