Tuesday 30th March 2010 Merge signs up LockPoker.com
Leading online poker room LockPoker.com has announced that it will be moving from the Cake Poker Network onto the Merge Gaming Network sometime next month.
The Merge Gaming Network already includes top sites such as PlayersOnly.com, Spin32Poker.com, Gr88.com, BigBetPoker.com, PokerHost.com and CarbonPoker.com and is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
“Merge is a natural fit for us,” said Jennifer Larson, founder and Chief Executive Officer for LockPoker.com.
“It is aggressive, innovative and very progressive in design and development. It is also dedicated to allowing its partners to be authentic, which is integral to the success of a network in the long-term.”
The US-friendly site stated that the move would bring increased liquidity for players as it looks to offer greater rewards to customers in the North American market.
“We are delighted that LockPoker.com has agreed to join the Network and we are thrilled to be working with such an innovative and experienced marketing group,” said Anthony Taylor, Chief Executive Officer for Merge Gaming.
“This deal will bring even more liquidity to the network and aid our continued growth.”
“I am very excited about the move to the Merge Gaming Network and I will be working closely with Merge to further innovate LockPoker.com's product,” said Eric ‘Rizen’ Lynch, professional poker player and Vice-President for LockPoker.com.
“Our philosophy is built on investing in the true poker player and appreciating and rewarding their passion and dedication. We now have the tools to achieve that.”
