$114,637 jackpot won on Slotland.com's Golden 8

“I have been playing at Slotland.com for a couple of years now, and though I do not consider myself a regular player, I have played enough to know which games I like more than others. As a rule, I generally try to make a deposit every other month, and Slotland.com is such a great casino that my deposit usually lasts me a long time. I always deposit $200 when I do play, and this time was no different.

However, when I started playing, it did feel different. I was hitting more often than I generally do when playing here, and I could not believe my luck when I found my original $200 had grown to over $1,000! All of this happened within the first two hours of playing. It almost seemed that no matter where I went to play, I was coming out ahead by the time I was done.

I played my favorite, Booster, for a while, and saw my bankroll drop down to below $1,000. I decided to take a break (I had been playing for over 3 hours!) and have some dinner. Since I was so far ahead of the game, I decided to treat myself to a nice restaurant in town. By the time I returned home, I was feeling pretty good, after a nice meal and a few glasses of wine.

Of course, I could hardly wait to get back to Slotland.com to see if the machines would remain as hot as before. Within 30 minutes, I was back over $1,000, and feeling pretty confident that I could get up to $1,500 before the end of the night. I have had this superstitious habit of always starting with Golden 8 (I remember reading in one of the newsletters that this machine hits more jackpots than the other machines), and I was really doing better than ever on it this time. So I was kind of daydreaming as I was spinning, thinking about what to do with some extra cash. And that was when it hit! Three beautiful bars across my machine! I was speechless! I immediately awoke from my daydream and began pacing the floor. I called my daughter and told her the good news, and I swear I could barely sleep that night!

I was asked what I plan to do with all of this money. Actually, I am gifting $20,000 to the International Red Cross specifically for victims of the terrible tsunami tragedy that happened last year. This means something very special to me, because my late wife and I had vacationed in the Maldives 10 years ago. It was the last vacation I had with my wife before she died. I had always promised myself that if I ever had a nice windfall of cash, I would treat myself to a trip back to the Maldives. After the tsunami, I felt that instead I would rather give something back to the Maldives, as I have such good memories that the Maldives had given me! I had already contributed $1,000 to help the cause, and am very happy to be able to give even more!”
