Friday 11th March 2005 VC Poker announce details for the 2005 VC Poker Cup
VC Poker, the online poker room operated by leading bookmaker Victor Chandler, has today released format and registration details for the 2005 VC Poker Cup through its official event website at www.vcpokercup.com.
The event will take place in London, UK between 1-5 August 2005 and will be open to 128 players. The buy-in for the event will be £5,000 giving an estimated prize pool of £640,000 and first prize of £255,000.
Presided over by one of Europe's premier tournament directors, Thomas Kremser, the 2005 VC Poker Cup will retain the player-friendly structure that was so praised by players and media alike. The VC Poker Cup will also allow players to wear sponsor's logos.
The VC Poker Cup will be filmed extensively for distribution to a range of international broadcasters. The 2004 event was shown in over 20 countries, and it is anticipated that the 2005 event will reach an even larger audience.
