Thursday 21st July 2005 Gaming Corporation Launches New Casino
Gaming Corporation plc ('Gaming Corp' or 'the Company'), the number 1 gaming portal operator and owner of both www.gambling.com and www.casino.co.uk, today announces it has signed a deal with Virtue Fusion, the casino software developer to provide a multiplatform casino solution available both online and on mobile devices.
After an extensive search and tender process, Gaming Corp has chosen Virtue Fusion because it has developed a best in class suite of games with a fee structure that will enable Gaming Corp to significantly improve margins in its proprietary Casino business. The new software will be branded casino.co.uk and is available on the internet and is compatible with all the major mobile networks.
The casino, located at www.games.casino.co.uk, uses software that has been jointly developed over the past 18 months includes fifteen online casino games and nine state of the art mobile java games including Blackjack, Roulette, Stud Poker, slots and scratch cards. The online games are flash based, meaning that there is no requirement for a lengthy download each time a player logs in to the casino and it is unaffected by firewalls. The java mobile games can be downloaded from the website or via the Casino.co.uk wap site (wap.casino.co.uk). The casino games are available for both practice and real cash play.
Registration and deposits can be made either via the mobile handset or online by either credit of debit card. Over 40 leading handsets are currently supported by the casino software and this number will increase as new phones are launched. The games are accessible across any mobile network in the UK.
