Poker comes to London in August

The World Poker Exchange has announced that it will host The London Open at the Old Billingsgate Market in August.

The offline poker tournament will be held in partnership with FHM UK and The Bravo Channel, the UK's leading men's entertainment network, on August 3rd through to August 6th. The World Poker Exchange London Open will be the first lifestyle poker tournament of its kind and will provide exclusive outings each night of the tournament.

The event promises to attract both world-renowned poker players and celebrities from around the globe. The overall tournament will be filmed as a primetime TV special, 'World Poker Exchange London Open,' and will also document the highs and lows of 10 FHM qualifying players as they play for the $2 million prize pool, which will be broadcast on Flextech's Bravo and freeview channel Ftn, reaching 3 million homes.
