Diamond I Joins Mobile Revolution

Diamond I has announced that it has the technology to launch mobile gaming - derived from Touchdev Ltd software -which Diamond I holds an option on. Diamond I has been developing plans to launch an online poker site and a mobile gaming service for customers outside the US.

Diamond I has been eyeing the mobile gaming market, which is a lucrative one, Juniper Research predicts global turnover to be nearly $20 billion by 2009. Other research suggests that there could be around 200 million mobile customers by 2010, mostly in the Europe and Asia-Pacific areas.

David Loflin of Diamond I said, �In nearly all of the recent industry publications, Europe, and more specifically the UK, has been identified as the leading source of mobile gambling revenues. Given our determination to pursue all available gaming opportunities, the acquisition of Touchdev would obviously provide a significant inroad into the European market.�
