Swede Wins Threedom Pass at Deauville

Poker winner, Patric M�rtensson has earned himself a pass to the European Poker Tour event in Deauville for the next three years with Betfair.

Patric won himself a �Threedom Pass�, which offers all poker players who qualify for a tournament with Betfair Poker, the chance to return to that tournament free for three years if they make the final table.

It was the first time the pass was on offer at Deauville, and Patric, aged just 19, came sixth after being knocked out by the eventual winner Mats Iremark.

Speaking after the event Patric said, 'The Threedom Pass meant that even though I didn't win, I will have another three chances. This is a great incentive for good poker players to qualify with Betfair Poker.�

Betfair expect to send 50 players to the World Series of Poker in July, where the Threedom Pass will be worth a massive $45,000.

Betfair Poker's Ben Fried said, �Congratulations to Patric. We always want to support our best players and make sure that at every event, Betfair Poker continues to be well represented at the final table.'
