Get Ready for the Battle of the Buff

Paddy Power Poker is going for the world record as it looks to host the biggest ever strip poker tournament this summer. The audacious attempt to break the record for naked poker will take place at a secret venue in Dublin on 1st August 2006.

With a recent Paddy Power survey showing than 50% of online poker players enjoy playing in the nude, it seems that Paddy Power has decided that this is the perfect way to take Ireland�s mind of not being at this summer�s World Cup in Germany.

The winner of this event will receive the Paddy Power Poker golden fig leaves and a holiday for two in one of Europe�s premier nudist spots: Cayton Beach, Scarborough.

Paddy Power�s Head of communications said, 'Several leading players have already signed up and we�re hopeful a few Page Three girls will want to join in the flesh frenzy.'

The record of 104 players was set in 1999 by the Naturist Society of Estonia who, in an unusual twist, started off naked and donned clothes as they lost hands. The winner, Petma Boom, donned the least amount of clothing in the 2-hour event, finishing the game wearing just one sock.
