Mobile Poker Games Amongst Most Popular Downloads

While it�s obvious to all that the proliferation of online poker sites has had a massive effect on building the game�s popularity, it seems that those who�d rather play on their cell phone are also proving that poker can go even further beyond its traditional place at the table.

According to mobile analysis firm Telephia, the major four carriers, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon had two poker games amongst their top 15 sellers. As more people are picking up these games, the more advertising they get and hence their growing popularity. The days of using your cell phone to transfer funds for that evening�s poker game seem well and truly numbered as players now seem to prefer playing on their commute to work � beats looking out of the window.
