Another day, another story of poker in the business world. This time it�s www.pokersyndicate.com who have delved into their pockets for some spare change, and found enough to buy out imperialpoker.com.

Rather than maintaining the site as it is, they plan to incorporate it into their unique site so they can build on what is already a success story. Poker syndicate boasts about being the only poker site in the world owned by players for players. Rather than taking in the entire rake or tourney entrance fee, they give their members back 50% credit of what they put in. Therefore, the more you play, the more you own.

The great thing is though that if you stop playing, you still retain your shares and can do with them as you please (cash them in and play poker even). Either way, it�s certainly a novel approach and with the acquisition of Imperial looks set to grow even further.
