For those who think that hypnotherapy is nothing more than an elaborate ruse for people talking slowly and deliberately to make money, then it might be time to look into their eyes and change your mind.

A 51-year-old woman from Leeds, England has begun using her powers to train poker players. Rosemary Owen has spent most of her career helping people get over fears and phobias, but thanks to the current poker boom, she’s making most of her income trying to improve poker technique. This includes working on developing clients’ ability to blank out and remove any trace of emotion, to creating more positive thought processes when they’re sat at the baize. In one particular instance, she’s training a customer who wants a sneaky looking eyebrow in order to strike fear into opponents. The simple fact is that people will go to any lengths to win.
